I'm Sarah Yoakley.
I grew up nearby in Dripping Springs and graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with two bachelors degrees in communication: Journalism and Radio, TV & Film.
I hit the ground running as a freelance copywriter and marketing manager. I supported a roster of clients in the home interior and technology industries with perfecting their websites, creating marketing materials, running social and nailing down brand language.
At the beginning of 2021, I took an internship with a local boutique PR firm and in less than 2 year's time worked my way up to a Senior Account Executive. I drafted and executed campaigns, curated brands' social media presence and cultivated press opportunities. My experience expanded into the hospitality, retail, fitness, beauty, and medical fields. It was in my time there that I truly learned the importance of strategy and was emboldened by what could be accomplished with dedicated planning.
Now, back in the freelance space, I provide my clients with content services backed by intention, consistency, and sustainability.
